I still haven't floated down the river but in between unpacking, sorting, cleaning, painting and looking in every room and out side space three times only to forget what I was looking for in the first place. We have had some fun. These are just a few of the things we have done.

Grindrod Garlic Festival. Garlic braiding contest.

Preparation for the braiding of the garlic.

I had never seen flowers woven into the garlic braids they were lovely.

Jessica and Karen proof we were at the Grindrod garlic festival. The sun was beating on our faces for this photo. It had rained in the morning and the air was very fresh.

Dinning at "Kaze" Japanese Restaurant.

Red sun from our yard, the day before the big smoke. With all the wild fires the sun and the moon were red.

OK the preparation for painting the living room is kind of fun, it's the kind of fun you have when the job is done.

Biking Back Enderby road, it was a beautiful day. I had to wear Steve's gloves since mine are packed somewhere. I have new ones now. Steve has been biking to work in the morning and home for lunch. It takes him about 5 minutes

Fun in the sun and the fresh air with interesting scenery all around .
Floating down the river would be a much nicer way to spend my time rather than cleaning up after someones dog every morning. I spend a lot of time thinking up ways to discourage this invisible dog.
